actually i do like chch~ but becoz it's so flat there's no landmarks for me to orientate myself with... so sometimes when i visit i end up calling some1 for directions haha~~ lol maybe next time we can meet up? wud u stay in chch after getting ur PR?

Nah I lived in Wellington before, came to Christchurch to start uni because of the major.  happy to stay here, and no I don't work for the city council, hahaha maybe I should consider working there.....

Hey that will be nice to meet up sometimes, but I still don't have a cell phone yet, hopefully I will be able to afford one next year.  It felt strange to ring someone I haven't actually met before, don't know what to say.  It will be like... eh hi ummmm 我是....

wow i can't imagine life without a cellfon! how do u do that?! i can't even go by half a day without texting~!
but i CAN imagine the awkward moment ur describing~ it happens even when i'm just catching up  with people i haven't seen for a while but was close to....after u get by the question of "so what's new" ..the struggle of finding common topics creep in...lol...

wow i can't imagine life without a  ...

Yeah, hahaha I got human map as well, my two brothers are good at remembering places, all I need is make sure one of them are with me when I drive, if not maps are really handy.

I've never had a cellphone so I can't compare, I guess if you've always had a cellphone and suddenly don't for a few days you will miss it, but for me nothing to miss about.  But hey I had days that you can hear me saying 如果有手機就好了, for example meeting with friends in a mall, once I am out of the house there is noway to contact me, so where in the mall are you now, no idea.

I work in Merivale McDonalds, if you came to Christchurch and happen to eat in this McDonalds in 2005 or 2006 you are likely to have seen me out front taking orders, but if you came in 2007 onward you probably haven't seen me cos I am always in the kitchen making burgers(ummm I guess there is still like 10% chance that I am out front taking orders).

lol in that case~ i prob haven't seen u~  (btw u need a photo man!) the majority of the time when i'm in chch i'm in the airport waiting for connecting flights~ i reli am v sick of that place. haha~ but merivale huh~ is that by the road or in a mall?

Yeah, I heard that you can't totally rely on GPS.  GPS - Turn left on the next intersection..... turn left now.  心裡大罵I am on the motorway, there is no left turn.  

photo... I don't take photo of myself, I only like to take photo of landscape or buildings...etc.  

It is by the Road, but the mall is just across the street.  If you have came out of the airport it is most likely that you have been to the McDonalds in Riccarton, as for Merivale not many Asians lived in this suburb.

Most asians live in Riccarton, Ilam or Burnside cos uni is close by.

Wellington eh.... ummm when I was there in 1995 there are mainly people from Thailand, well probably a small group of Taiwanese, in 1999 people from China started to come, but I still feel there are less Asians compare to Christchurch, I might be wrong.

o ya... coz when i went to welly earlier this yr it seemed like there was a lot of kiwiasians but not asian asians... o auckland's pretty scary tho~ every time i go back there's more asians... certain places i go even make me wonder if i'm actually still in nz.... ^^"
