Peter Hernandez生於1985年10月8日，廣為人知的藝名為Bruno Mars。為美國知名的歌手、詞曲作家及音樂製作人。因與B.o.B合作的冠軍單曲「Nothin' On You」及與Travie McCoy合唱的「Billionaire」而迅速串紅，Flo Rida紅遍大街小巷的Right Round也是與Bruno Mars合作出來的結晶。
Bruno Mars是在夏威夷出生和長大，擁有菲律賓血統。來自音樂世家的他，家中有六個孩子，自小受音樂的薰陶(包含混音雷鬼、搖滾、嘻哈、R&B)，從小就喜歡學著名人唱唱跳跳，例如麥可傑克森及貓王。1990年，Bruno Mars受周刊精選為＂小貓王＂，2003年17歲的他，順利從高中畢業，並移居洛杉磯追尋自己的音樂夢想。
在正式成為歌手之前，他是 Flo Rida(佛羅里達)、Alexandra Burke(亞歷珊卓)、Travie McCoy、Adam Levine(亞當李維)、Brandy(白蘭蒂)、Sean Kingston(尚金斯頓)的音樂製作人。在與B.o.B合作的「Nothin' On You」登上告示榜冠軍後，在2010年5月11號正式發行了自己的首張個人單曲「It's Better If You Don't Understand」，此舉暗示著今年年底前將有首張個人專輯的誕生。
